New BauBax 2.0 Travel Jackets, with 25 Features to Conquer All Travel Challenges, Launches on Kickstarter

Travelers will enjoy more comfort and functionality thanks to 25 features designed to make any trip easier and more enjoyable, with the launch of BauBax 2.0 Travel Jackets - now available on Kickstarter.

BauBax 2.0 follows the most successful apparel crowdfunding campaign in Kickstarter history. The original BauBax Travel Jackets raised $9.2 million in 2015 – becoming the fourth most-funded product in Kickstarter history at that point. BauBax has since gone on to sell more than 150-thousand jackets raising additional $15-million.

Inspired by the popularity and functionality of the original jacket, BauBax 2.0 is created “by travelers for travelers," and is designed to solve common travel problems and make every journey smoother.

“I've always found traveling cumbersome and harder than it should be, from fumbling around at security, to looking for a pen for customs forms, or trying to hold a drink when my tray table is occupied by a laptop," said Hiral Sanghavi, Co-founder and CEO of BauBax. “With BauBax 2.0 Travel Jackets, travelers will find they have everything they need to enjoy their trip and get the sleep they crave."

In addition to its stylish look and light weight, BauBax 2.0 comes with a built-in neck pillow, eye mask, gloves, blanket, and inflatable footrest ideal for travelers who like to sleep during flights.

“No one wants to carry a big goofy neck pillow when traveling," said Yoganshi Shah, founder and chief design officer of BauBax. “All of our jackets include an inflatable pillow that's discreetly tucked away in the hood, along with an innovative valve technology that allows the traveler to inflate a neck pillow in just two seconds and deflate it with a simple press of a button."

BauBax 2.0 features include the main zipper with a small pen/stylus attached (for customs forms), earbud holders, multiple tech gadget pockets, a secret RFID safe pocket, a drink pocket and built-in gloves. The jacket has specially-sized storage pockets for passports, wallets, tablets, smartphones, earphones, sunglasses, portable battery chargers and water bottles. The water bottle comes with a carabiner.

With BauBax 2.0, the company has added some Apple centric features as well, including an Apple Pencil Pocket, Apple AirPods Pocket and built-in AirPods straps to hold earphones in place.

Travelers will also be able to breeze through airport security with ease with BauBax 2.0.

“Instead of unloading all your pockets before stepping into the full body scanner, you can simply keep everything in your BauBax Jacket, take it off and send it through the scanner," Sanghavi said.

BauBax 2.0 is also a versatile, stylish and functional jacket for busy people for all activities including daily commutes, hiking, weekend fun and everyday use.

The BauBax 2.0 jackets are offered for both men and women in four styles: vest, bomber jacket, sweatshirt and windbreaker.
